Today is the first day of the rest of your life

I suppose somebody once came up with this quote, strongly suggesting that there's always the chance of starting fresh all over again. While I always consider a positive look at life better than a negative one, some days I just don't feel that it works that way.

And today is one of those. Weird thing is, that I actually, this day, did start all over again, but fresh is quite the opposite of how I feel. I probably am far too impatient. I mean, hey, this is only day 1! But wouldn't day 2 start better when you felt fresh the day before?
